Education / School groups
The Living Art Museum (Nýló) offers programming connected to current exhibitions including lectures with artists and curators, performances, symposiums and guided tours for both small and large groups.
Guided tours and museum education for school groups are always offered free of charge and can be tailored to all levels during the museum´s open hours between 11:00 – 16:00 on week days.
The museum can accommodate one class (with a maximum of 25 students) at a time and teachers should expect that the tour takes up to an hour. School groups are also encouraged and welcome to visit the museum without a guided tour and to enjoy the exhibitions according to specific individual or group interests.
Guided tours
The Living Art Museum offers popular customized guided tours for groups by arrangement.
It is possible to offer tours to a maximum of 25 individuals at a time, with each tour taking up to an hour.
Shorter or longer visits can be arranged according to the special request of the group.
Both small and large groups can be accommodated, including company visits, workshops and visitors from abroad.
Guided tours during the museum’s regular operating hours are 25.000 ISK and 35.000 ISK during weekends and outside of the regular hours.
